UNCONDITIONAL AND WITHOUT PREJUDICE
Structural Condition
The artist's canvas is unlined and is providing a sound and stable support. There is another painting visible on the reverse of the canvas.
Paint Surface
Under ultraviolet light some tiny flecks and dots of retouching can be seen. These appear in the upper right and upper left corners of the composition in the blue pigment of the background. They are all of minimal size and have been carefully applied and are covering areas of thinness to the paint surface. There is an obscured inscription 'Tulips' in the lower right.
Summary
The painting is in good and stable condition and no work is required for reasons of
conservation.
