Condition

STRUCTURE This picture is unlined and in good condition with strong, clear colouring throughout and rich impasto. There are no signs of craquelure. There is one small area of lifting paint above the pink flower on the right where we would advise localised treatment. UNDER ULTRAVIOLET LIGHT There are areas of retouching in the background and around the edges of the picture, possibly to infill craquelure. FRAME Contained in a moulded plaster frame.
