STRUCTURE
These pictures are in very good original condition with clear colouring throughout and rich imapsto. There are no signs of craquelure and the paint surface appears to be stable throughout. These pictures are clean and ready to hang.
UNDER ULTRAVIOLET LIGHT
The Shepherdess - there is one small spot of retouching in the sky on the righ side.
Wending Home - There are minor retouchings beneath the bridge and retouchings in the sky.
These retouchings have been well executed and are not visible to the naked eye.
FRAME
These pictures are contained in matching moulded plaster frames.
