Catalogue Note
The present view depicts the ninth tee on the Turnberry golf links in Ayrshire, a coastal bay set on a rocky promontory on the edge of the Irish Sea reached by a precipitous path. Houston captured the rugged beauty of one of the most beautiful golf links in the country.
