Condition

The canvas appears to be lined. The paint surface is dirty and there is a layer of discoloured varnish. There is a dent to the top left corner with a corresponding area of paintloss. There is a further scratch 7cm long l.r. Examination under ultraviolet light reveals an opaque layer of carnish which prevents a more conclusive examination. Held in a gold painted moulded plaster frame (some losses) Uneamined out of frame. FOR RESTORATION
