Condition

Original canvas. The paint suface is slightly dirty and there is a layer of discoloured varnish. There is some light rubbing to the paint surface along the top edge and some flecks of gold paint from the inner frame edge. Examination under UV reveals a layer of opaque varnish which prevents a more conclusive examination. It's held in a modern black-painted wooden frame. Unexamined out of frame.
