Condition
Original canvas. There is a layer of surface dirt and discoloured varnish. A fine vertical crack 10cm long in the centre of the sky. Examination under ultraviolet light reveals a layer of opaque varnish, but no retouching seems visible. Held in a painted moulded plaster frame. Unexamined out of frame.
