Description

the lid painted with an exotic and pensive beauty gazing out of a window within red gem-set chased flowers and gold initials, maker's mark PM (Cyrillic), 84 standard

Condition

Overall good condition. The hinge has been repaired and is over-tight. The enamel surface has been lacquered, and the lacquer is chipping at upper left, as visible in the catalogue photo.
