Description

  • 37 by 18.5cm., 14½ by 7¼in.
decorated with a triangular enamel plaque depicting Ivan-Tsarevich, scrolling foliate surround

Condition

There is a crack to the enamel 1cm long on the upper section of the panel, further hairline cracks nearby. One of the support nails is missing from the calendar section. The wood has been cut into on the reverse, presumably to hang at an earlier date. The calendar section and mounts bear dents consistent with age and use. The piece may benefit from professional clean.
