Description

  • 31.5 by 27.5cm., 12½ by 10¾in
depicted full length brandishing the 'sword of truth' and 'scroll of life', flanked by four saints, the Mother of God shown below

Condition

The board is bowed. There are several holes to the icon suggesting an oklad was applied at one point. There is paint loss due to close contact with a heat source. Missing gesso replaced in three corners. The strutts have been replaced at a later date / have moved, one overlapping.
