Condition
The reverse of the canvas has been treated and is slowly flaking off. There is a patch to the t.r. of the reverse. The paint surface is quite dusty. There is some light rubbing to the inner frame edge and a few fine lines of craquelure visible to the moon.
Examination under UV light reveals a few flecks of retouching in places and five small patches of retouching to the sky and water. Held in a gold painted plaster and wood frame (some chips). Unexamined out of frame.
