Description

  • width: 5cm., 2in
rounded rectangular, the lid enamelled in translucent powder blue over sunburst engine-turning within a dot-and-dash frame and centred with a ruby, the lid border, sides and base enamelled in translucent pearl white over banded waves, chased two-colour gold husk rim, diamond-set thumbpiece, the interior of the lid with mirror, marked K. Fabergé beneath the Imperial Warrant, scratched inventory number 30420, 88 standard

Condition

Excellent restored condition. The sides and base have been lacquered with possible restorations beneath. A very attractive and well-made box.
