  • height: 45.5cm, 17 3/4 in
the cover repoussé and chased with the Risen Christ, the corners with roundels depicting the Four Evangelists with their attendant symbols, within geometric borders, the back cover with corner mounts and a central star medallion chased with the Skull of Adam beneath the cross

Condition

There is wear to the gilding consistent with age. On the reverse the lower right silver cornerpiece is slightly damaged. There is considerable wear and fading to the fabric, revealing cracks to the wooden panels. The fabric along the spine is also cracked.
