  • 74 by 44cm., 29 by 17¼in
from a festival tier of an iconostasis, St Peter at the head of a group of apostles to the left, bystanders on the right.



 

Condition

There is one strut to the reverse. The icon has been cut down on either side. There is extensive craquelure, discoloured varnish, rubbing to the surface and areas of retouching throughout. The inscription have been strengthened or added later. We would advise prospective buyers to view.
