from a Naval service, chased with a band of waves, the bud finial rising from an applied foliate cap, engraved with a later crest above an Imperial crown, the interior engraved No.15, 11M(?), 3 1/2 Q, also No.17:12, and pricked N-8-3 funt, 6 zol., Assay-master Yevgraf Borovshchikov, maker's mark unclear, date apparently 1774
