containing 149 black and white and colour photographs and prints of the artist's portraits including Prince Igor Troubetskoy, Anna Pavlova, HRH Queen Elizabeth Alexander Benois and Marina Chaliapina; as well as two black and white photographs, one of which depicts Maxim Gorky, most pages variously inscribed or titled and dated in pencil

The pages are slighlty stained from glue. A few are loose and worn with yellowing at the edges. The photographs with handling creases; the prints with some nicks and tears. Red canvas covered boards (the front cover with gilt lettering: S.Sorine) in fair condition with some wear to the corners.
