Condition
The sheet is discoloured and shows some signs of foxing. There are light smudges and very minor spots of staining. There are also a few tiny flecks of white paint on the surface. Held in a gold and black painted wood frame with decorative molding and under glass. Unexamined out of frame.

Stepan Krachkovsky was a Colonel in the Russian army. His collection numbered over 100 pieces and included the works of artists such as Repin, Levitan, Serov, Vrubel and Nesterov.
