STRUCTURE
The canvas has been lined.
PAINT SURFACE
The general appearance is good. There is some craquelure, more pronounced in the upper and left centre of the canvas than elsewhere. There are a few scattered spots of surface dirt or possibly varnish.
ULTRAVIOLET
Ultraviolet light suggests there might be some old retouching to the sky.
FRAME
Held in a plain gilt wood frame.
