the upper part depicting the couple flanking a monogram within an oval border inscribed 'Pieter Koeckebakker, in den echt vereenigd met (joined in matrimony with) Maartje Dirks Rok den 3 Okt: 1761,' flanked by fruiting grape vines and butterflies and circular medallions depicting Biblical scenes, the lower part with a medallion also inscribed 'Door Jan de Bleyer, Leeraar der Doopsgesinden (teacher of the baptized) in Alkmaar Oud 33 jaar (33 years old) 1761,' in a burr fruitwood frame.
