Description

Designed as a flower, centring on a brilliant-cut diamond weighing 1.38 carats, surrounded by pear-shaped emeralds, 'en tremblant'; with brilliant-cut diamond leaves and a baguette diamond stem; cased by Shaw, Madrid (2).

Condition

Smaller than illustrated. In good condition. The principal brilliant-cut diamond weighing 1.38 carat of H-I colour and SI clarity as graded in the mount in our expert's opinion. The central flower motif "en tremblant". With a double pin to the back. French assay marks for platinum on the brooch and for 18 carat to the pins (Bacchus head and owl) Total weight approximately 20 grams.
