Description

Of open worked design, centring on a oval-cut opal, between lotus flower motifs, set with calibré-cut sapphires and circular- and single-cut diamonds.

Condition

Overall in good condition. The opal measuring approximately 12.42 x 8.85 x 5.98mm. Length approximately 35 mm, smaller than illustrated. Stamped Pt for Platinum. The pin is made of base metal. N.B fire opal is cushion-shaped, not oval. Very minor nicks to a couple of facet edges, only noticeable with 10x lens. Width approx. 35mm/ length approx. 35mm. 6.5grams in weight. Total diamond weight approximately 0.95 carat, I colour on average, SI clarity, well matched. Very good condition.
