the bearded male figure in travelling clothes and headdress, holding a long staff in his left, a book under his right arm, a rosary hanging from his waistbelt, the reverse hollowed 

Extensive losses to (later) polychromy and gilding, some smaller dryness cracks, smaller losses to carving at the garments, minor traces of old woodworm to the reverse, larger piece of wood missing to the reverse at the head of the figure, the head with drilled hole for fixation, the sides of the hollowed reverse with two dito holes.
