Description

Circa 1870, 3rd Republic Period, Grand Cross breast star, embellished with rose-cut diamonds, French maker's and assay marks, height approximately 92 mm.

Condition

Image in catalogue to scale. Weight approx. 97g. Stamped with French assay marks for 18 carat gold and maker's marks. Rose-cut diamonds bright and lively, well matched. 3 later pins to reverse. High polish to the reverse, slight tarnish. Signs of normal wear. In overall good condition.
