Condition
The canvas has been relined. Craquelure throughout. A few minor retouches in the sky and along the edges due to frame abrasion. One ca. 1x1cm retouch in Rubezahl's left knee, one 2x2cm. retouch to the right of the top of the cane. A horizontal retouched tear of approx 25 cm. running from the beard to the right of the canvas. One horizontal retouched tear of approx 7 cm. left of the base of the tree in the right foreground.
