showing an androgynous naked  youth standing on an oval base, a sickle in his right hand, his left arm holding a long spray of fleurs-de-lys, his head tilted slightly to sinister in admiration of the flowers, the base cast with the title of the composition, the signature of the artist and the date 1896, also inlaid with founder's mark, the name obliterated, also Fumière & Gavignot Srs, on a red marble base
