- Nine drawings of various subjects, including one sheet with three carriages, inscribed on top 'Nymphenburg', circa 1960

Condition
The drawings are made with pen and ink and pencil. They seem in good condition. No discolouring of the paper. They seem glued to the cardboard back with 'photo stickers'. Unexamined out of frame.

Catalogue Note
Prince Wittgensstein was best known as a writer and an accomplished draftsman specialising in interior watercolours. He used drawings like these as illustrations in his books, i.e. Durchlauchtigste Welt, 1959. One of the motifs on the sheet with the coaches is illustrated in: Franz Prinz zu Sayn-Wittgenstein, Die Wittgenstein. Geschichten aus einer Familie, Munich 1979, p. 43.
