Condition
The actual painting is slightly browner in tone than the catalogue illustration suggests. The panel is bevelled on all sides. Thinness is visible throughout but especially in the darker hues. Tiny spots of paint loss in the legs of the figure. Otherwise the painting is in fair condition.
Inspection under UV-light is impeded by the varnish layer, which is thick and glossy. Offered in a gilt wood frame with red floral patterns, very decorative. (JD)
