- length 29.5cm.
polychrome painted, highlighted in gold and elaborately applied with mother-of-pearl, small pieces of coloured straw and feathers with a Chinoiserie scene, the reverse painted with a branch of cherry blossoms, the sticks partly Chinoiserie painted in gold
Condition
Some smaller losses to the applications, gilding, painting, some stains and wear to the paper, especially at the folds. Some rubbing to the gilding of the sticks; the reverse with old reinforcements to the paper leaf, some stains and minor imperfections.
