the backrests and seats covered in leather stained dark brown, worked in needlework with star-shaped motif, secured by nails with broad heads of brass cut in the form of a flower; together with a similar but simpler oak side chair, alterations 

Condition

Most chairs loose in the joints, damage from worming, three chairs broken below the backrest, feet restored on two chairs, leather dry and distressed.
