Description

  • height 13cm.
showing a scene of Venus Maritima and Cupid travelling across the sea and being dragged on shore by four putti, accompanied by Tritons and Nereids; together with a flat and near-round mother-of-pearl cut shell with ten medaillons showing scenes of the life of Christ, surrounding a central medaillon with the Resurrection

Condition

The seashell should be cleaned and minor miniscule chips, the other one in overall good condition.
