Description
- height 107cm., width 185cm., depth 58.5cm.
the rectangular top above two drawers, the fronts dating from the late 17th century, carved in high relief with trumpeting angels, on a leash holding hounds in pursuit of a fox, two-door front below flanked and centred by pilasters, also dating from the 17th century, carved in high relief with musicians including two bagpipers
Condition
There are minor traces of old woodworm. The top is replaced. The frieze to the left side probably later and with traces of tar of paint. The frieze to the left side is later. Some mouldings replaced. The hinges of the left door are slightly loose and should be reinforced. The lining of the drawers should be renewed. Rich brown patina, one pilaster loose.
