Description

  • height clock 52cm, urns 35.5cm
9-cm engine turned ormolu dial with Roman numerals and snake bezel signed Champion Rue N.ve Des Petits Champe No.27, Breguet hands, countwheel bell striking anchor movement with silk suspended pendulum, arched patinated bronze case with an ormolu sunburst and acanthus broder flanked by the well cast and chiselled figure of a classical lady, rectangular base with garland mount, acanthus moulded plinth raised on arched feet, together with two bronze and ormolu ornamental urns 

Condition

dial tarnished and numerals partly rubbed, signature also fading, minute hand broken from the centre, movement complete but very dirty and in need of a complete overhaul, case of good quality in original dirty condition, ormolu seems to be in good condition and should clean up nicely, urns are of the same period and style but not matching with the clock at the lower acanthus moulding, original but dirty same as the clock, together with a pendulum, front and back glass both with bajonet lock
