- height 94cm.,width 120cm.,depth 58cm.
the black marble top above four long drawers, the lower three applied with mounts of gilt bronze, finely cast with lion heads and addorsed swans flanking the key hole, the tops of both columns as well as the top edge of three drawers stamped CHAPUIS
Condition
One keyhole escutcheon plate detached but extant, vertical split on left and right side. Minor veneer restorations, scratches and minor hairline cracks due to shrinkage. Overall with some minor wear due to ageing and usage. Rim fritting to marble top. The commode five times stamped Chapuis
