Condition

Original canvas. Craquelure visible throughout the canvas. There is a scratch and minor damage to the canvas just left of the head of the sitter. Surface scratch to the left hand of the sitter. Some wear and paintlosses at the edges. Thick old varnish layer. Scattered retouches throughout the canvas. Some stretcher marks visible. This work would benefit from cleaning.
