Description

  • diameter 34.5cm.
painted in Wanli-style with a lion in architectural surroundings within a wide border radiating alternate panels of either a seated Chinoiserie figure or stylized floral motives

Condition

Usual rim chips and glaze abrasion to the rim, some glazewear and minor imperfections to the glaze due to manufacturing process, one glazeless imperfection at one o'clock (ca. 0.2 by 0.2cm.), one large star shape hairline crack within the glaze to the reverse, with two original piercings to the footrim for hanging.
