Screenprint in colors, 1967, signed in ink and numbered 248/300, co-published by the artist and Leo Castelli Gallery, New York, for the Aspen Winter Jazz Festival, on heavy, glossy white paper, the full sheet, scuffing and surface scrapes along the right sheet edge, extending 1-inch into the sheet, a surface scrape at left, a 3-inch crease in the bow tie at right, several surface scuffs and small nicks at the sheet edges
Condition
The print is scraped and scuffed along the right sheet edge, mostly in the white areas, and extends into the image approximately 1-inch. There is an additional surface scrape in the red dots approximately 3-inches from the left sheet edge (about 1 by 1/4 inch in size). There is a 3-inch hard crease in the bow tie at upper right. There are other surface scuffs throughout, and a few small nicks at the sheet edge.
