Lithograph printed in colors, 1853, the first state (of two), signed in pencil, dated, titled and inscribed 'épreuve H.C.', a proof aside from the numbered edition of 10, on Rives wove paper, the full sheet, printed nearly to the edges on three sides, in good condition apart from a few creases in the corner at upper left, the verso with four skinned areas with associated remains of paper tape

Condition

In good condition as catalogued. The creases at upper left are 3 inches and shorter. Additional handling creases and shorter creases are apparent in the sheet. The verso has four sizeable skinned areas, two with remains of brown paper tape, all from previous hinges.
