Description
- Marc Chagall
- The Little Horse (M. 681)
- sheet 573 by 386 mm 23 3/8 by 15 1/4 in
Lithograph printed in colors, 1972, signed in pencil and numbered 34/50, on Arches wove paper, with wide margins, in good condition apart from light-stain, the extreme lower sheet edge extending below the mat and with associated creases and tack holes, framed
Condition
The print is in good condition as catalogued. Light-stain has darkened the paper tone in a window around the print and darkest at the mat opening, causing the colors to fade slightly. The print has been poorly matted and extends below the lower edge, causing the extreme sheet edge to crease and resulting in 3 tack holes from nails used to close up the frame. There is slight discoloration in the outer margins and on the verso.
