Etching, 1638, a good impression of the second (final) state, on laid paper, with a partial Foolscap watermark, trimmed to the platemark, in good condition apart from a few small repairs at the left sheet edge, a horizontal crease extending through Adam's head, adhesive remains in places at the sheet edges, verso
Condition
The print has several small touched-in repairs along the sheet edge, the most obvious is in the foliage at top. There is a 1 1/2 inch horizontal crease at left, which extends into Adam's head. There are some remains of old adhesive and surface soiling in places at the sheet edges, verso.
