Catalogue Note

The ADDF is a public charity whose sole mission is to rapidly accelerate the discovery and development of drugs to prevent, treat and cure Alzheimer's Disease (AD), related dementias and cognitive aging. We raise and award funds to academic and biotechnology scientists who are conducting research in these fields. We use a venture philanthropy investment model to bridge the global funding gap between basic research and later-stage development, recycling any return on investment to support more research. To date, the ADDF and its affiliated Lauder family foundation, the Institute for the Study of Aging, have awarded $28.7 million for 195 programs and conferences worldwide.
