Lithograph printed in colors, second (final) state, 1895, on wove paper, printed by Ancourt, Paris, with margin at right, generally in good condition apart from a horizontal crease along the upper sheet edge, breaking through and touched-in, the sheet edges with repaired tears and losses, framed
Condition
As catalogued the print is generally in good condition. The aforementioned crease runs the width of the sheet, c. 1/2 inch below the upper sheet edge, with associated shorter creases throughout. There are skillful repairs along the remaining sheet edges including losses, tears, creases and all are touched-in. These are most noticeable at left where they run the entire length of the sheet edge. The lips on the figure are very bright and possibly enhanced.
