Etching and drypoint, 1966, the third (final) state, one of three impressions printed before the plate was steel-faced and beveled (Baer notes only one of these impressions was signed), on BFK Rives paper, with full margins, in good condition except the sheet edges folded back on three sides, occasional surface soiling, framed
Condition
The print is in good condition as catalogued. The left and right sheet edges folded back c. 1/3 inch, the lower sheet edge folded back 1 1/2 inches and with an additional horizontal crease running the width of the print below. There is minor surface soiling in the margins at left and top, as well as on the verso. Remains of adhesive from old hinges appear at the upper sheet edge verso.
