Drypoint, 1944, from Six Contes Fantastiques, signed in red crayon and numbered 25/30, one of 30 proofs reserved for the publisher and aside from the book edition of 225, on heavy wove paper, with full margins, in good condition apart from a few faint fox marks, pale mat stain, framed

Condition

The print is in good condition as catalogued. The fox marks are visible in the margin at left, with a few pale marks visible in the image. Mat stain forms a pale window around the image in the margins and is darker in some areas. The verso has remains of adhesive and old hinges in three spots.
