Etching, 1933, from the Vollard suite, signed in pencil, from the total edition of 310, on Montval laid paper, with the Vollard watermark, with wide margins (slightly shaved at right), in good condition apart from pale mat stain, framed
Condition
The print is in good condition overall. The right sheet edge has been shaved 2-3 mm and the margins have been slightly yellowed by mat stain with a c. 1" band of darker disocloration below the signature. There are remains of two prior hinges at the left sheet edge, verso.

Estate of Clara Kennedy
Mrs. Kennedy (1927-2007) emigrated to the United States from Czechoslovakia via Sweden in 1949. She was a collector of prints and contemporary glass and acquired these five examples from Picasso's Vollard suite in the 1970's.
