Drypoint, 1905, from the Saltimbanques suite, from the total edition of 250, on Van Gelder Zonen wove paper, published by Ambroise Vollard, Paris, with full margins, folded back at top and bottom, foxing on the verso showing through, mottled mat stain, light-stain, framed

Condition

The top margin is folded back 1 3/4 inches and the verso has been taped to the backmat. The folded back area has significant mat stain and "reverse foxing". The lower margin is folded back 2 3/4 inches. Fox marks are visible on the verso and show through to the recto including 6 spots in the image. The margins have mottled mat stain and there is a window of light-stain around the image, darkest at the mat opening.
