Etching printed in black and red, 1938, signed in pencil and numbered 3/30, on wove paper, co-published by Pierre Loeb, Paris and Pierre Matisse, New York, with wide margins, in good condition apart from traces of discoloration in the margins, a few nicks and pinholes at the sheet edges

Condition

The print is in good condition overall. Traces of mat stain are visible in the outer margins. There are four pinholes at the right sheet edge, with associated oxidation, one broken through and backed with japan. Two tiny nicks are visible at the left sheet edge. Adhesive discoloration along the upper sheet edge verso shows through slightly to the recto.
