Aquatint, 1951-52, a proof aside from the numbered edition of 15, on BFK Rives wove paper, with full margins, in good condition except the lower right sheet corner reattached, vertical creases at the upper left and right extreme sheet edges, slight skinning along the upper sheet edge recto, framed
Condition
The print is in good condition as catalogued. The lower right sheet edge has been skillfully reattached and the separation line is visible under strong light on the recto and verso. There are vertical creases at the upper left and upper right extreme sheet edges measuring c. 5 inches each. Skinned areas running 3 inches each appear at the upper sheet edge verso due to the removal of old hinges. Mat stain is also visible on the recto, with faint time stain on the verso.
