Albumen print, mounted as a cabinet card. Titled 'J.(5) Xie Kitchin' on the mount below the image and 'J 2477' upon the reverse. Both these inscriptions are in Carroll's hand.  The added numeral 20 in smaller script on the front probably in another hand.Framed.

Condition

Not examined out of frame. The original has less of the yellow/orange tone seen in the catalogue illustration and contrast is marginally less strong. There is some retouching and light spotting on the print surface. Overall fair condition.
