Condition
This intriguing print, cropped tighter than seen in illustrations, is in generally very good to excellent condition. Numerous fingerprints and handling marks are visible along the top portion of the print. These appear to have occurred during processing and are not in the negative. In the illustrations noted in our literature, these handling marks are not visible. In raking light, a few faint, hairline scratches are visible near the chimney. These do not break the emulsion.
The back of the mount has light surface soiling overall. There are two diagonal strips of adhesive residue on the reverse.
The annotations on the reverse are: 'p. 54,' '7E' (circled), '#16' (circled), '43-2' (circled), '#3,' and 'v 598 Wsut [?] 133.'
