Condition

This delicate, detailed print is in generally excellent condition. The photograph is ferrotyped, creating a high gloss surface. Typical of the ferrotype process, scattered pitting and unevenness of the gelatin surface is visible in raking light. Upon close inspection, a very light amount of age-darkening is visible along the left edge. The photograph is hinged to a mat with two small pieces of linen tape. On the reverse, there are two small pieces of linen tape at the bottom corners of the print from a prior matting.
